Trearddur Bay

Our Luxury Beach Court Apartments
Set in an exclusive development overlooking Trearddur Bay, Beach Court Apartments offer a perfect location for holidays and short breaks and self catering.

With a European Blue Flag beach just minutes away, Trearddur Bay is an ideal spot for short breaks in some of Wales’ best sailing, surfing and walking holidays. The beach is very safe and ideal for children with very shallow with rock pools and places to play and explore.

Stretching around the island, the coastal path offers some spectacular views with some of the best directly at the Bay. While it might take you 5 days to walk around the whole island, you only have to walk 2 minutes to enjoy the best parts of the scenery. Surely a must see sight during a short break.

There is also an excellent opportunity to observe wild life bird, porpoises, and seals flying and wallowing in the turquoise bay from the Ellen’s Tower, set high up on the cliff on the north western point of Anglesey.

The views from South Stack on the north western tip of Holy Island are truly breathtaking; looking south you can look out over the whole of Anglesey over to the mountains of Snowdonia and the Lleyn peninsula. To the west is Ireland. Watch the ferries come and go and on certain days you will catch a glimpse of the emerald isle itself as well as the Isle of Man! To the north is Holyhead Mountain, for the adventurous this is well worth a scramble or for the more relaxed approach you can skirt around it on the Coastal path. Nowhere is the Anglesey coast line as dramatic as it is around Holy island, with dramatic cliffs, heath land, sparkling blue coves and sandy beaches. You will also come across standing stones giving a glimpse into Anglesey’s ancient and mystical past.

Porth Dafarch is a very beautiful blue flag beach on the road between Trearddur and South Stack. It is a popular base for bathers, divers and kayakers.

Trearddur Bay offers a range of possibilities for dining and drinking! The Trearddur Bay hotel offers both standard pub fayre as well as fine dining. The waterfront situated in prime location at the beach front is also suitable for family dining. For a special night out, the food and views at the White Eagle in the neighbouring village of Rhoscolyn are highly recommended.  We eagerly await the opening of new gastro pub “The Seacroft” on Ravenspoint Road in summer 2008.

Trearddur Bay also has a range of amenities with shops, restaurants and pubs and Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities with a shopping complex.
